Hailing from the East Coast, Whitney's passion for horses began at the age of 5 in Tennessee, when she first began taking riding lessons. Her love of horses only grew from there, and when she was 10 she started helping out at the little stable behind her elementary school in Georgia in exchange for lessons. With nearly 25 years of experience, Whitney has ridden several different disciplines, including western pleasure, huntseat, and reining, but her true passion is dressage. She has a background in starting young horses, imprinting foals, grooming, teaching lessons, and barn management.
Whitney has been at Topline Equestrian Center since August of 2013, after getting married and moving to Los Angeles from Atlanta.
Boarding
Topline Equestrian Center is a full service boarding and training facility. All horses boarded in stalls or pipe corrals are required to be in a training program, while all horses boarded in pasture must be participating in lessons. Included in stall boarding prices listed below are the following services:
- Daily cleaning and re-bedding with shavings 3 to 4 times/week.
- Up to four flakes of Alfalfa or Oat hay served three times daily, in any combination. (+ $40 per each additional flake/month)
- Timothy hay is also available for $60/month for each additional flake.
- De-worming every three months of all horses on the property with rotating brands of dewormer.
- Blanketing service October through April.
- Daily graining service (owners provide the grain).
